    Ceramic Coating Your New Boat

    Even a factory new boat will have swirl marks and light scratches. We use a glossmeter to measure the shine and find that new boats will average around 85GU. After a polish with Glidecoat Nano Polish and two coats of Marine Ceramic Coating, the boat will hit 95GU or higher on the glossmeter. The best part though is that the ceramic coating will keep it looking better than factory new for 18-24 months with little maintenance.

      Absolute best product I have ever found to protect my fiberglass. I am in fresh water and have gotten 3 seasons now out of 1 application. I have a blue hull which oxidized and faded no matter what wax I used. After the initial coat of Glidecoat, my blue has a real deep shine and I’m going on 3 years with no oxidation.

      Hi Paul, I wanted to send you a note that I bought your polish and buffed the boat this weekend I followed with a wipe down with isopropyl alcohol and then applied the glidecoat finish. The results were great. I was really amazed at how well it worked and the appearance of the boat after the treatment. If this lasts the promised 18 months, you will have a real believer. I’ve already told a lot of people at the Lake of the Ozarks where we keep our boat about the results. Thanks for the help. Steve

      Greetings from the Great Lakes. No matter what wax I used, my boat looked terrific for spring launch and then at fall haul out, the blue hull would be entirely faded and oxidized. Did a lot of research over the winter and decided to try Glidecoat. I figured if this product works for the salt water guys, it will definitely defeat our fresh water season.

      We followed the directions exactly how Christian instructed us to and could not believe the results. We were impressed after the Nano Polish with how deep the blue shine was. After applying several coats of the ceramic coating, the sides of our 44 Searay look better than new. As you can see in the before pictures, the fading and water spots were pretty bad.

      Hopefully when the October haul out occurs this year, we will see that Glidecoat survived a Lake Erie summer!

    RETURN POLICY
    We guarantee to refund any item that is returned to us in a saleable condition. To initiate a return, you must contact us (returns@glidecoat.com) within 14 days of receipt to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). We will provide you with a return label at that time and credit the refund to your original method of payment once the product is received at our warehouse. Any orders sent back without a RMA will not be refunded.

    Please note: A 15% restocking fee, as well as the cost of return shipping, will be deducted from the refund amount.

    For safety reasons, we do not offer returns on products that have been opened or used. Please contact us in the case of products which are faulty or unfit for purpose to discuss replacements or applicable refunds.

    Please note: If you purchased our products through another reseller, you will need to return the products to the original place you purchased them.

    HOW DO I MAKE A RETURN?
    Returns are simple and easy. If you need to return an item simply send an email to returns@glidecoat.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). We will provide you with an authorization number as well as a return label for your choice of UPS or USPS. The item can then be packaged with the return label and dropped off to the corresponding delivery service provider.

    WHAT ABOUT MY DELIVERY CHARGE?
    In the case of the following:

    • we have made a mistake on an item sent to you;
    • The item is faulty;
    • The item is damaged;
    • The item is of unsatisfactory quality;

    We will refund the delivery charges you have paid to receive that item. If the item was part of a larger shipment which is not being fully returned, the delivery charge will not be refunded.
