The key to a successful ceramic coating application is all in the prep! This Dual Action Random Orbital Polisher is the perfect tool for surface preparation and restoration prior to applying a Glidecoat Ceramic Coating. The DA Random Orbital Polisher packs enough power to remove medium oxidization while leaving a perfect finish that is free of any swirl marks. This machine has a lightweight design with limited vibration, which makes it easy to use for beginners, DIYers, and professionals. The DA Random Orbital Polisher has a progressive speed trigger, trigger lock, and 6 different speed settings ranging from 1800-5300 OPM (oscillations per minute).
The DA Random Orbital Polisher comes in two different sizes. The 5-inch size has a 5-inch velcro backing plate which fits our 5-inch buffing pads. It has a 15mm throw, meaning the plate will oscillate 15mm from center, cutting a path approximately 6-inches. The 6-inch size has a 6-inch velcro backing plate which fits our 6-inch buffing pads. It has a 21mm throw meaning the plate will oscillate 21mm from center, cutting a path approximately 7.25-inches. The DA Random Orbital Polisher is approximately 6lbs in weight and has a 13ft long power cord. Each machine comes with a heat dissipating backing plate, L-wrench, D-handle, carbon brush, and a buffing pad cleaning brush.
