El revestimiento cerámico antimicrobiano subacuático de Glidecoat ha sido diseñado para su uso en la sección sumergida del casco de tu barco. Se puede utilizar como sustituto de la pintura de fondo, ya sea sobre pintura o gel coat. Si existe pintura de fondo, debe eliminarse antes de la aplicación, mediante chorro de arena o de sosa.
Desarrollado como un recubrimiento cerámico duro 9H que contiene ingredientes antimicrobianos para impedir el crecimiento marino. Además, al igual que nuestros otros revestimientos cerámicos, produce una superficie hidrofóbica supersuave al rellenar los poros microscópicos y los arañazos de la superficie, a los que la vida marina no puede adherirse.
Nota:
Antes de aplicar, hay que asegurarse de que la superficie ha sido completamente preparada, incluyendo la limpieza, la eliminación de cualquier organismo marino, la suciedad, la espuma de sal u otros contaminantes de la superficie para asegurar una superficie consistente. Application Instructions
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS SUPPLIED WITH ALL GLIDECOAT PRODUCTS.
Start by mixing Part B bottle into Part A bottle. The mix ratio has been pre-measured at 30/70, so there is no need to measure. Shake well after mixing and use the mixed product within 7-10 days. Do not leave the bottle open or exposed to air as the humidity in the air, will cause the product to cure.
- Apply a small amount of Glidecoat Anti-Microbial Ceramic Coating to the application pad. Shake well prior to every application. Use light to medium pressure to a small area 2’ x 2’. Make sure the entire area is covered and appears wet.
- Using a clean white microfiber towel to lightly buff area coated to achieve a smooth shiny surface. Remove all liquid before proceeding to the next step. When proceeding to new sections, be sure to overlap ensuring area is covered entirely.
- Once complete with this step, make sure all areas are uniform. For the best results, we suggest you apply 3-4 coats. The second coat can be applied when the surface is finger touch dry.
- To completely cure, allow 18 hours before washing or getting boat wet. When coating, the area should be well ventilated, not in direct sunlight, and avoid contact of products on your skin.

We guarantee to refund any item that is returned to us in a saleable condition. To initiate a return, you must contact us (returns@glidecoat.com) within 14 days of receipt to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). We will provide you with a return label at that time and credit the refund to your original method of payment once the product is received at our warehouse. Any orders sent back without a RMA will not be refunded.Please note: A 15% restocking fee, as well as the cost of return shipping, will be deducted from the refund amount.
For safety reasons, we do not offer returns on products that have been opened or used. Please contact us in the case of products which are faulty or unfit for purpose to discuss replacements or applicable refunds.
Please note: If you purchased our products through another reseller, you will need to return the products to the original place you purchased them.
HOW DO I MAKE A RETURN?
Returns are simple and easy. If you need to return an item simply send an email to returns@glidecoat.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). We will provide you with an authorization number as well as a return label for your choice of UPS or USPS. The item can then be packaged with the return label and dropped off to the corresponding delivery service provider.WHAT ABOUT MY DELIVERY CHARGE?
In the case of the following:- we have made a mistake on an item sent to you;
- The item is faulty;
- The item is damaged;
- The item is of unsatisfactory quality;
We will refund the delivery charges you have paid to receive that item. If the item was part of a larger shipment which is not being fully returned, the delivery charge will not be refunded.
