    STORAGE AND USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

    IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS SUPPLIED WITH ALL GLIDECOAT PRODUCTS.

    • For best results, apply to a clean surface. We recommend washing before applying.
    • Spray directly onto the surface holding the bottle 8 – 10″ away. Cover an area roughly 3 square feet.
    • Lightly buff with a clean microfiber until the section is smooth and uniform. A second microfiber may be required to remove any excess product from the surface.
    • Allow the product to cure for 12 hours prior to washing or getting wet.
    • Avoid applying in direct sunlight or to a hot surface. This could cause the product to flash off the surface quickly, making it more difficult to buff the product off.
    • Multiple coats can be applied for added gloss and longer lasting protection. To achieve the results stated, we recommend a minimum of 2 coats.
    • Marine Shine & Shield must be used within 2 years of the date purchased. Once opened, the shelf life is 1 year
    • For optimal results with Marine Shine & Shield, make sure the surface does not have any oxidization. If oxidization appears on the surface, we recommend buffing with compound and/or polish to clean the surface, then applying the Marine Shine & Shield. Our product is designed to help enhance the surface – not remove oxidization!

      We use the older product as a topcoat over Glide coat Ceramic coating on out 1997 Grand Banks in southwest florida in saltwater. So far it has vastly outperformed the waxed boats in our marina .

      My jet ski is black and blue. Waterspots show easy, of course. In Iowa we have pretty dirty lakes and rivers and I am very particular when it comes to cleanliness after the lake. I take pride in ownership so I try “the best” on the market. Before this product, I would use a mix of vinegar/water to wipe down after use. However, I would have to do it right away otherwise waterspots are harder to remove after a few days. This product repells water better than anything I have ever used. After the lake, I do not need any more sprays. I use a microfiber cloth to dry and that is it. No more waterspots.

      Just thought I would send some photos of my boat. I forgot to take “before” pictures, but it had been sitting out in the weather for six years and had become quite oxidized. The colors were faded and the surface had no shine, it just looked chalky. I spent a few hours buffing it out with an oxidation cutting compound, followed by a good polish. After washing off any residue, I applied Glidecoat Marine Shine & Shield to seal it and add even more depth to the luster. Here are the results.

      I used the glide coat kit on my boat and it looks new again! You don’t realize how well this works until you go to wash it at a later date and everything comes off MUCH easier! This stuff just plain out performs all of the competition. Make sure you clean buff wax ect. Before applying this.

      This product did not leave my boat with a shiny gloss after using. Perhaps it will need several coats. I did see a minimal difference. The advantage is that it is a spray and wipe. Since I have an arm injury, I chose it over a wax that would require a lot of arm work with wax removal. If anyone has an handicap, it is a better choice than wax.

      Ease of application and effectiveness make this a winner.

      Works well – easy to apply and remove from your boat. Seems to maintain its protection 2 months on the water now. Top deck rails and motor covers may need reapplication after a month or two in the sun.

      This product is awesome. Try this product and you will never go back to wax on your boat. While I had a disappointing experience with shipment (the bottle arrived empty because of the FedEx package that Amazon used to ship), Glidecoat made good on the shortcoming. Great product and great company.

My 19′ Boston Whaler is normally quite a mess after a day of serious fishing but now all it takes is a hose off with water and it looks spotless again. Even the bloody bait box isn’t too much of a challenge for this stuff. Easy to apply and simple to buff with a rag…I can’t see myself waxing my boat again any time soon…!!!

      About one year ago, I obtained a bottle of Glidecoat Marine Shine and Shield.
      I parked the bottle along with other cleaning supplies and polishes until
      I was ready to prep our boat for summer 2016. I decided to try the Glidecoat.
      We don’t do comparative testing, but the results of your product over
      the past year have been so good, that I thought I should send you an
      unsolicited testimonial.
      Yes, it was easy to apply, but other products can make that claim.
      What was unique, was what seemed to be a magical shield against dirt,
      water marks and even dark stains. The glossy shine was a added bonus.
      It is quite evident that Glidecoat is more than a polish and I would
      certainly recommend it to anyone with a boat.

    RETURN POLICY
    We guarantee to refund any item that is returned to us in a saleable condition. To initiate a return, you must contact us (returns@glidecoat.com) within 14 days of receipt to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). We will provide you with a return label at that time and credit the refund to your original method of payment once the product is received at our warehouse. Any orders sent back without a RMA will not be refunded.

    Please note: A 15% restocking fee, as well as the cost of return shipping, will be deducted from the refund amount.

    For safety reasons, we do not offer returns on products that have been opened or used. Please contact us in the case of products which are faulty or unfit for purpose to discuss replacements or applicable refunds.

    Please note: If you purchased our products through another reseller, you will need to return the products to the original place you purchased them.

    HOW DO I MAKE A RETURN?
    Returns are simple and easy. If you need to return an item simply send an email to returns@glidecoat.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). We will provide you with an authorization number as well as a return label for your choice of UPS or USPS. The item can then be packaged with the return label and dropped off to the corresponding delivery service provider.

    WHAT ABOUT MY DELIVERY CHARGE?
    In the case of the following:

    • we have made a mistake on an item sent to you;
    • The item is faulty;
    • The item is damaged;
    • The item is of unsatisfactory quality;

    We will refund the delivery charges you have paid to receive that item. If the item was part of a larger shipment which is not being fully returned, the delivery charge will not be refunded.
