Glidecoat está cambiando eso mediante la ingeniería de un recubrimiento cerámico profesional que utiliza la tecnología de superficie inteligente para rellenar los poros microscópicos y los arañazos en las superficies de su avión. Esto crea una superficie súper lisa y altamente hidrofóbica, reduciendo en gran medida el mantenimiento. Los contaminantes se asientan en la parte superior de la superficie en lugar de ser absorbidos por los poros. Un simple enjuague o un ligero lavado y secado con una toalla después del uso es todo lo que se necesita para eliminar estos contaminantes, dejando su avión tan brillante como el día en que fue recubierto.
