It is a magnet for road debris, dirt, rocks, UV, and bugs. Over time, these will combine to slowly destroy the finish requiring expensive repairs and repaints.<\/p>\n<p>Traditional methods of protection simply don\u2019t stand up to the extreme exposure:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"normal vertical\">\n<li><strong>Paint Protection Film (PPF):<\/strong><br \/>\nOver time the film will crack, peel, yellow and mold. The only option is to remove the film and reapply which is also quite expensive and time consuming.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Custom fitted bras:<\/strong><br \/>\nOver time will crack, fade and mold. They are also notoriously hard to keep clean and if the bra isn\u2019t fitted exactly, dirt and moisture can get behind the bra causing damage to the paint underneath. Not to mention, it is a shame to cover up a beautiful front cap. Many users will install the RV bras when they are on the road and uninstall once they have landed which is inconvenient.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wax:<\/strong><br \/>\nThis is the cheapest method mentioned, and while it does protect the front-end cap from UV, bugs and road contaminants, wax begins to fail almost immediately. Wax simply rests on the surface of your RV and through abrasion, it wears away. This means that every time drive or wash your coach, you take some of the wax off with it.
